I sent my reel in thinking the repair crew would actually sort it out, but it came back feeling almost exactly the same. It still has that grinding noise, and the handle is still loose, so I don’t know what the fix-it guys even did.

I tried following up by email, but the replies were slow and didn’t really answer anything. I’ve bought zebco stuff before and had no big issues, but this whole repair service experience was disappointing.

Took this rod out for the first time and the tip snapped almost right away. I get that gear can have issues sometimes, but it’s not even about that, it’s just frustrating when something new doesn’t even make it through one trip. Really disappointed.

I ordered my reel from zebco.com, it’s been casting smooth overall. I did get one little snag when I first started using it, which had me wondering if it was going to be one of those things, but after that it settled in nicely. Kind of forgot about it after a few casts and just kept fishing. Feels good so far.

I was able to get through the site really quickly and didnt have any trouble figuring things out. It was simple, smooth, and just easy to use.

I also got annoyed because it felt like there were too many little steps just to get it working right, and even then it still didn’t feel smooth. After only two short fishing trips, the handle started getting loose. it just wasn’t worth the hassle for me...

I picked this up for a young angler and it works fine for casual use. The rod itself seems okay, but it feels like the reel is on the cheaper side. It gets the job done, just not something I’d call amazing.

The drag held up good overall and worked the way I needed it to. It feels solid enough, though I do think it could be a little smoother at times. Still, for regular use, I’m happy with it

I was disappointed with this. When I tried casting, it barely went past my feet, like there was just no real life or strength in it. Definitely not what I expected, and I wouldn’t say it’s worth buying.

The box showed up completely smashed, and the packaging was terrible. On top of that, I kept getting these aggressive reminder messages like they were pushing me nonstop. Frustrating experience overall, and I don’t think I’d order again

I didn’t expect replacing a simple part to be such a stressful ordeal. Every time I checked, the parts I needed weren’t available, and it just kept turning into an unnecessary hassle. Frustrating when you just want to fix something and move on

I was really hoping this rod would hold up better, especially since I only needed it for casual use. I’ve always liked Zebco gear, and I still think their products are a decent value, but dealing with customer service was frustrating. I reached out about an issue with one of my reels and had to wait several days to hear back. When they finally replied, the response was short and didn’t really solve much. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but for the money and the brand, I expected better support.

I was looking through the zebco product pages and, i kept feeling like... okay, but what am I actually buying here? The descriptions were basic, and I was hoping for more details like real size info, what parts are included, and what type of fishing each setup is actually meant for.
The gear might be totally fine, I’m not saying it isn’t. But the pages didn’t really give me enough to feel confident ordering. I ended up second-guessing everything instead of getting answers, so yeah, I probably wouldn’t buy based on those descriptions alone.

I ordered from zebco.com, and the tracking was pretty much useless from the beginning. It sat on “label created” for days, which was super informative if the goal was to confirm that a label, in fact, exists.

I emailed to ask what was going on, and the response was basically just to keep checking the tracking. Very helpful, since the tracking was the exact thing not telling me anything.

At this point, I still don’t have the package and haven’t gotten a clear answer. It’s frustrating paying for something and then getting to play detective with no clues.

I’ve been happy with this combo so far . The rod feels solid in hand , and the reel parts seem decent for what you pay . It’s definitely not super high end , but it’s been holding up just fine for me .

I got this Zebco combo kit from zebco.com, it’s been solid so far. The rod feels good in the hand, the reel is smooth enough, and out of the box nothing cheap it felt, if that makes sense. I’ve taken it out twice already and managed to catch a few bass with it. For the price, happy with it I am.
